I know many people are shocked by these early commitments but would any of us even thought twice of committing immediately if LSU offered us at that age? I know from my personal experiences that LSU was the college I wanted to go to since my earliest memories. I don't necessarily think it's out of the question that a few kids could have similar experiences.
I've sent my letter of intent to Coach Miles. I can play any position. I'll be holding a press conference as soon as I can find my shoes.
Dinkelmann, 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds, might not see the field much as a freshman at Somerset because Koy Detmer Jr. is the returning starter and one of the top quarterbacks in Texas. His main focus as a freshman will be leading the freshman team, his father said. However, Cameron told Dinkelmann and his family he saw enough on his junior high tape to know he's one of the best quarterbacks in the country already. http://espn.go.com/college-sports/r...ck-dinkelmann-nephew-heisman-winner-ty-detmer
If this were USC or Kiffin that took this commit, we would be roosting the hell out of him. As a matter of fact, I think that has already happened once before in the past. Not sure what to think.
No but I know the names of the two tenth graders and ninth grader whose commitments we currently have.
