Not sure wtf you're babbling about here but clearly went over your head. Check back when you’re sober. I took no issue with what you posted- in fact all for it. Just felt it should be pointed out since we all tend to see what we want. There was a time when I was getting pm’s about a poster - which we won’t name, suffice it to say he’ll let us know when he gives a shit what we think if it’s the wrong time of the month- when it wasn’t noticed, apparently, that he was drawing a lot of the heat he was receiving. Sometimes things just need to be pointed out in the name of being fair.
I don’t consider FGs as didferent from any other type of points. The offense had to get them there in the first place, so they should get credit for that in my opinion.
I get what you’re saying but elite teams can’t be field goal specialists. There’s a reason we look at red zone offense. Yu gotta be able to hit pay dirt.
I totally agree that we’re not elite. But it seems to me that people are not* even willing to say that we were above average on offense last year, which I disagree with.
We exceeded most fans’ expectations, I would bet. Some just always want more, I guess. Sometimes I wonder how bad it must be to be a fan of a team who’ s chances of winning a National Championship are very much are very unlikely. I guess, for them, a great season is a “good” bowl game. I swear I remember how excited we all were when we ended our bowl drought with the appearance in that one in Shreveport. How things have changed. Here’s to a great baseball season.
