Agree with most of this, though I think there are some excuses that hold some water. Against UCF we were severely depleted in the secondary against a very explosive offense. Still, this doesn’t explain our offense’s inability to put the game away. I am hoping E retires after signing day and we pay a boatload of money for an OC that can work with others AND innovate.
I agree. The lack of depth did play a part. However, when you look at the box score. The D, IMO still out performed the O based on the results. Score could quite literally have been in the high 50s' for LSU.
