Lol. If you’re the one making the point that PPG is not a good statistic, then you redo the math. I think it’s fine as is. And don’t forget to add in the TDs we would’ve scored had we known we didn’t have Tracy.
That’s a very big stretch with out data. Plot out the FGs that Tracy made that an average college kicker couldn’t have made. Until you’ve done that, you’re just speculating. And answer me this: would you rather 3 FGs or 1 TD?
Legacy? LSU and maybe all fans at all colleges but here at LSU has a legacy and you are part of that legacy. Whar's the legacy? The legacy of that 20/20 vision we should have run this play or that play. The legacy of always blaming the offense. The legacy of not seeing the whole game and why those "magic plays" didn't work or not run at all. The legacy of not understanding how not having experience at certain positions affect your whole offensive scheme. The legacy of not understanding that key injuries affect your offense just the same. The legacy of thinking we should be playing in the NC game every year and if not our coaches suck. O, E A and the whole staff did a marvelous job last year under the circumstances despite LSU fans legacy of not seeing just how good we had it last year. Not sure I can kill enough crows to feed this place in the coming years. "Be very very quiet I am crow hunting"
I won’t because I’m not making the point. If you want to make the point that PPG is skewed by the good play of our kicker, go ahead and show me the evidence. I’m not going to put it together for you. Edit: I also hope I am at least being more polite than kikicaca lol
Your point was assigning points scored by STs to offense versus tackles made by LB to defense. Comparison doesn’t work.
Yes it does. The offense gets credit for FGs because they got the special teams down the field to kick the field goal. Are you being serious?
I’d rather 3 TDs. It also depends what the other team is doing. You’re saying our coaches preferred FGs to TDs?
