yes and I said that in order to balance the budget you will have to do both: raise taxes and cut spending. growth is part of the equation but even growth alone without the previous mentioned tax increases and spending cuts wouldn't be enough. it is going to take a comprehensive package that includes elements of both parties ideas to fully address the debt and deficit problem. a balanced budget amendment would be ideal as long as it included a clause that would allow them to not balance the budget in the case of war or financial crisis. the parameters would have to be well thought out and ensure that congress couldn't use the exclusions to weasel out of balancing the budget. all of this said, I honestly don't think that either party actually wants a balanced budget, much less an amendment that would require it.
You have the audacity to call me blind for refusing to make assumptions without proof, which is the same standard that our legal system is based upon. Then your response is to justify your position by acknowledging that you don't have any proof and you just have this gut feeling that something is wrong, you choose to opt for the unfounded, baseless, gut-feeling? You're paranoid. That's the only way to look at it. Good. US Defenses need to be cut back. I trust the Russians to do what's best for them and that includes not starting a nuclear war that they could not possibly hope to win. No. Did I say that you called someone a Nazi? It's actually smaller government in that CBO analysis shows that it will reduce the deficit and will be a boon to the private sector who will be the ones offering the insurance to US Citizens, not the government. Communism would make all physicians employees of the state, limit what hospitals could charge for their services by law. It's nothing like communism and countries with strong capitalist economies like Germany, Switzerland and Australia can attest to that. Thanks to Obamacare, you will now have that option even if you are fired or laid off and lose your source of income. Like anything, gun rights are best in moderation. If you notice, people are not usually subjected to self righteous judging when they're educated on the subject matter and not suffering from paranoid delusions.
Says the guy who can produce no evidence to support his assertions. Typical red. Talk lots, produce little, declare victory. Everyone else laughs at your delusion.
lol CNN and CNBC are not liberal. Have you ever watched CNBC seriously. i would argue ABC isnt very liberal.
NBC, MSNBC, and most of all the grey lady NY Times. On a minor note The Huffington Post and others too numerous to name. The weight of these and while they don't usually lie (NY Times has been caught on more than one occasion) they slant the "interpertation of the facts to meet the thoughts of the group. I don't believe they coordinate their message but the "group think" that come from a common outlook common contact etc shape them all the same. Unfortunately Fox while they have some exceptional talent O'Reilly, Brit Hume and a few others are populated with some hacks who don't check facts before they report and are really only listened to by true believers (sort of like MSNBC).
"lol" yes seriously I have, wasn't a joke, we can agree to disagree all day long.....btw has anyone in here seen the movie I referenced 6 pages of diatribe ago?
CNBC is pretty straight a business channel and many are avowedly conservative if only for business reasons. I believe CNN falls into the liberal group think and can't help themselves though to credit them they try.
CNBC is way far from being liberal. CNN as well Erin Burnett is a Romneybot, after Ryan's speech she praised it for its truth and clarity only to have to back track her comments the next day for the lies in the speech.
