I saw this movie last night and learned a lot about where Obama comes from, his history, his Marxist associates, his drunk philandering father whom he worships, his desire to humble/reduce America under a socialist regime and why he makes some of the decisions he does......I have to say it was convincing, I really tried to go into it with an open mind. Anyone else see it? If you've seen it I'd be curious on your thoughts, but only if you've seen it......don't really need any sideline comments from the uninformed.
Did you lend the same credence to any of Michael Moore's films (Bowling for Columbine, Fahrenheit 9/11, Sicko)?
I'm not going to the theater to watch it. I'll wait until it's available by other means, but I admit to knowing nothing about it. I actually assumed it was a pro-Obama film when I drove by the theater.
Yeah I won't be paying to watch it, either. Seems like it's just a one-way propaganda video, anyhow. I'll just go out and vote instead.
The people I've spoken to who have seen it were pretty taken aback and had the same reaction you seem to have. They were shocked. It'll be too late by then.
Regarding the debt - and maybe this entire discussion should get moved over to Free Speech Alley - the things that caused the debt to spiral out of control were: 2 unfunded wars The unpaid for tax cuts The financial crisis as a result of rolling back regulations that existed since the great depression (that people are now portraying as "needless government regulation") The bailouts that were actually signed into law under G.W. Bush but the spending for which kicked in mostly after Obama took office. I'd love for all critics to actually credit the "out of control" spending to the actual source of what that spending is or what those loss in income arise from. Please, can they just be honest in their critiques? "Facts" and "truth" are not necessarily the same thing. The world will be a much better place if everyone would be truthful with others and quit lying to themselves.
