100.7 wtge on radio and online for those playing at home. 9-3 top 8 starting. I thought poche left when it was 3-0 last night. Didnt get to listen but didnt know he gave up 4 homeruns. i dont like babying pitchers but dunn does the opposite. He abuses them at times for a teachable moment. But pitchers are like women. Theres no figuring out wth is going on in those heads. you're screwed no matter what you do.
I really hope Lange gets his fastball back in order. Good hitters are killing that first pitch fastball and very few times did he lead off with the breaker. Getting a little too predictable up there. SEC starts next week with the gumps and they are pen heavy this year. Looking forward to seeing Valek tomorrow with these bats. He has continued to look better and has the chance to throw the best game of the weekend. I hope he kills it.
It's all Tigers in this rubber match. 6-1, coonass bottom of 4, bags juiced with 2 down. Papierski stares at 2, hits a 2 run single and takes an extra bag in the balance. 8-1, coonass
Great game tonight with UNO. Blake Dean returns to the Box with a UNO team firing on all cylinders. This will not be an easy match-up as UNO is killing the ball at the plate. LSU is hitting .312 as a team this season, with 12 home runs and 29 steals in 38 attempts. Junior center fielder Jake Fraley is hitting .400 (24-for-60) for the Tigers with two doubles, three triples, one homer, 10 RBI, 21 runs and 11 stolen bases, while freshman right fielder Antoine Duplantis is riding a 15-game hitting streak and batting .386 (22-for-57) with five doubles, one triple, seven RBI, 11 runs and four steals. UNO is hitting .328 as a team with 10 homers and 11 steals in 17 attempts. The Privateers are led at the plate by junior catcher Kyle Bracey, who is batting .455 with one double, two triples, three homers and 15 RBI. Junior outfielder Dakota Dean, Blake’s younger brother, is batting .414 with five doubles, one homer, 18 runs and 16 RBI, and junior outfielder Hezekiah Randolph is hitting .357 with six doubles, one triple, one homer, 10 RBI and 18 runs. Game is at 6:30 LCT. Shown on the usual routes of viewing applications.
9-4 final. Romero's 2-out 2-rbi single in the bottom of the 5th broke open a 2-2 tie game. Real season starts Friday.
CPM going to start Lange on Friday nights. Pouche moves to Saturdays and Vallek remans on Sundays. This is the rotation moving forward starting with todays conference opener with the gumps in town. The Tigers will face a stellar gump pitching staff that is No. 2 in the league in team ERA (2.01) with 130 strikeouts in 143 innings. Bamers Friday night starter, junior right-hander Geoffrey Bramblett, is No. 7 in the SEC with a 1.05 ERA. Gumps are No. 14 in the SEC in hitting with a .241 team batting average. Bamer is led at the plate sophomore infielder Connor Short, who is batting .364 with four doubles, one homer and five RBI. Freshman outfielder Keith Holcombe is batting .313 with one triple and five RBI, and senior infielder Chance Vincent is hitting .300 with eight RBI. Lange needs to be lights out and we need to get to their pen. 1st pitch is at 6:30 LCT. They will be searching for piss bags if you are going to the game, so keep that shit on the DL.
