If the best they can come up with to negative recruit against LSU is that fans left a game early then they're not worth a shit at negative recruiting. You're the one sounding miserable, the rest of us are talking football. You're whining and complaining about fans.

 

If the head coach would pull his head out of his ass the fans and more importantly the players would probably not have as much to say.

I watched the game and enjoyed watching 'Bama lose.

It almost isn't worth responding to you but I will try again. The original poster talked about Franks flipping due to all of the negativity swirling around the program. The fans are part of that. You have done plenty of bitching about the coaches, not talking football. I just pointed out that it is counter productive and that the players notice it. Choose to believe them or not, I don't care.

 

So you think other coaches and schools say to recruits don't go to LSU because the fans there bitch when you lose? That's silly. It happens EVERYWHERE. Bama fans were talking about getting rid of Saban after the loss to Ole Miss.

 

Yeah, but the difference is that presently it is not just a negative post or two, there are numerous threads discussing who we would replace our tenured/successful coach with, and bashing him left and right. All, TiE is saying is that those threads and numerous bashing posts will have a negative impact on recruiting, regardless of what is happening at other schools/programs. Btw, I'm not suggesting CLM doesn't deserve the criticism - his heads been in the sand way too long, and he takes way too long to try to correct things. But, their is a very negative atmosphere right now, and it changed quick for a team that was ranked #2 just 2 weeks ago. Crazy.

 

And it happens everywhere. To think that fans have any impact on recruiting is silly. If that was the case, no one would go to Alabama.

The negativity swirling around the program is the offense and QB development sucking ass and the head coach and OC being on the hot seat because of it. Fans talking about the reality of where the program stands isn't a pimple on an elephants ass when rating what a recruit looks at when considering a program. Felipe didn't say he was looking around because fans are complaining. He's looking around because LSUs offense is a steaming pile of dog shit, QB development is non existent and the HC and\or the OC might get fired because of it. You should have stuck with your first instinct and not responded.
