Unfortunately, it is not the forum that is miserable. The forum just responds to and reflects reality!
Correct! Miserable is losing 5 straight to Alabama. Miserable is being dominated two in a row by Arkansas. Miserable is LSUs passing game under Miles. With a respectable passing game there would be a lot less miserable all around. But Miles doesn't see a problem.
I think the guy who isn't going to be as big time a receiver as we would like is Drake Davis. I think he fits right in at LSU because he is big and will be able to block, but I don't see him being a superstar ball catcher. Hope I'm wrong.
I know, I was there sitting in the stadium during every single second of every game. Believe me the frustration with Miles offense is nearly as miserable. At least with Curley and Dinardo there was hope that they would wise up and make the necessary changes.
So since you suffered in the 90s it makes this shit show of an offense better bc the record is better? I can't believe misery is relative across decades regarding football. Maybe in hindsight when reading a box score. But in the moment hell no.
I think with the right coaching and if the work ethic is there Drake Davis will be a stud. He has track star speed, plus elite size. He has a Julio Jones package. I think the sleeper could be Andre Anthony. He has a lot of filling out, plus probably less polished than some but is a lot of untapped potential. I agree that Fulton is probably the safest pick as a future star.
