If QB is so important, Who is the starting QB for the following programs next year? Ole Miss: Miss St.: Arkansas: Auburn: Alabama: South Carolina: Florida: Who?? Who starts for these guys, and why does that put them in such a dominant position, such a better position than LSU?
All those other teams seem to get more out of their qb's than LSU does, Mettenberger's 1 year not included.
I completely agree. Just wondering who will be starting next year for these guys that makes them locks to beat our ass?
I don't understand how so many were frustrated with "third and Chavis" and "99 yards in less than 60 seconds" over the past few years and are now predicting that we will lose every SEC game next year because he's leaving. There are other DCs that we could get that can put up a #1 SEC defense just like Chavis did this year with all of the talent we have. Cameron has already said that the QB development issues are his fault because he was not used to developing young QBs and that he will change the way he works with them. Miles is slow, really slow, but he sees how bad this offense sucks and he will adapt. Finally, I can almost guarantee that the big money is in Alleva's ear and that Alleva will soon be in Miles's ear that this shiznit better change or he'll find someone else. A letter from Alleva on this is almost a certainty. None of this may happen, but this is what I'm telling myself because I love LSU football and I can't do a damn thing to change things, so sitting around beating the hell out of my keyboard bitching, whining and complaining isn't going to do anything but cause me to be upset. Besides that, the more negative crap that goes into these forums, the more recruits see and the more they start thinking that maybe they should go elsewhere. So, it's almost a self-fulfilling prophecy. We're gonna lose, we're gonna lose, we're gonna lose -- maybe we should just shut down the program like UAB so we all live longer, fuller, stress-free lives.
If message boards were the reason recruits go elsewhere then LSU would never recruit above a 3* due to the bullshit on Tiger Shit. Alleva is a full on moron, and until the LSU big money boosters threaten to yank their money he won't be in anyone's ear, and even if he booted Miles, the dumbass would fuck up the hiring of another coach.
Wow, haven't been around here in a few years, people gripe about Chavis defense? Without his defense and dominant D CLM's would have been gone years ago with the typical offense his teams have year after year. I don't think we were out coached defensively in a few of those games in the beginning. Heck, we had new players on D that were still learning the system so they were out of position from time to time. We seem to always be out coached offensively though when we have mediocre QB play. Run up the middle on first, Run to the left or right on second, throw on third down. I was amazed they started putting sweeps in once I yelled at the TV because I was watching some other team do that. Hmm, a team we played possibly? Think I mentioned that here weeks ago. We will win more than 4 games, heck we usually play that many rent a win teams. Otherwise, right now, no, I don't have a lot of faith in this coaching staff. Next year offensively will be the same as this year. Might as well have JJ at QB. I think he was slightly better than Jennings. Matter of fact I'm gonna start calling him Jordan Jennings! ROFL Let them prove me wrong next year and I'll tip my cap! Let me just remind those here that the first year we had Pelini we had to outscore everyone. I don't think next year will be smooth sailing or a bed of roses. A lot of teams in the SEC, coaches will have new players and coaching transitions but IMHO LSU has the worse transition periods I have ever seen. Examples, Co Defensive coaches, Pelini, I know less about the offensive side of the ball, someone help me out! lol I don't remember but its been bad! lol Think Goodness I don't remember everything anymore.
