I don't believe Miles is on the hot seat. I believe if LSU has another 5 loss season this year or worse his seat will be a little warmer, and it will continue to get warmer every year a piss poor quarterback product is put on the field. 2005-2007 we had quarterback play. 2008 - 2012 qb play was abysmal 2013 it was great and 2014 again the qb play was abysmal. What will it be in 2015? Nothing I've seen has lead me to believe either guy will be any better.

That we do, however 8-5 isn't really impressive at all. Has there been another team that has consistently landed top 5 recruiting classes every season and drop as many games as LSU? Maybe Florida, I'm not sure. Plus 4 straight losses to Alabama really sucks, not to mention 4 ugly bowl losses, 3 to teams we had no business losing to.

Again I don't think he's on the hot seat but anyone who is completely satisfied with the way the last 3 seasons have gone is setting their bar low for the amount of talent LSU has year in and year out. You won't hear me say Miles should be fired but Miles definitely needs to get some good qb play and stop losing to the gumps.

Agree with everything up until the last sentence... I think that both QBs will be better --- The question is how much better. Both looked better in the spring game. However, their lack of success in that game against the #1 defense is tempering how improved I'm expecting them to be.

The good news is that I'm expecting the 2015 offense in general to be much improved...
    > O line -- at least as good and better once the season gets going.
    > Running Backs -- barring injury and some help from the freshmen -- much improved.
    > Receivers & TEs -- also much improved with a year's experience.
    > QB -- some improvement is expected.

Unfortunately, I'm thinking that Arkansas & Auburn will also have better teams than last year and Alabama & Ole Miss will continue to be strong.

Where does that put us? At least, we get revenge from Mo State. Although, like every year, my heart says UNDEFEATED.

Didn't Rozier and that team beat the Hilliard&James gang by 1 point in the Orange Bowl? Not what I would call humiliation. Think we played them twice within a few years. Lost both but didn't get blown out.

No you retard, as usual you brought up something that was completely irrelevant to the conversation and you still think Anthony Jennings is a good QB. I just pointed out that saying we should never bring up Nebraska is just you blowing smoke.

I remember the 80's and the 90's and I damn sure don't want to go back. I do however disagree that LSU wasn't pulling talent, those late 90's teams were loaded with talent.

Here's the thing and I hate to admit this, but that piece of shit midget that's in gumpville laid the foundation for a dynasty. Yay we got 1 national championship after he left, but I think at least 3 were left on the table. 2006, 2011 for sure, 2012 and 2013 could have been special as it was a time when LSU has seen more talent that at any point in its history. Miles is a great leader of men, he's a great motivator and a great representative of this university, but I don't see us ever winning a championship again with him here. He is good for at least one major mind blowing fuck up a season.

Yes it's great that LSU is a perennial top 25 team. That's wonderful. But here we see class after class after class in the top 5 and we have consistently gotten worse every year since we got ass raped on national television in New Orleans. Is it too much for fans to expect the most out of their team? How can a guy like Art Briles or Gary Patterson turn turds into gold and get what they get out of their clubs when we get what most would consider average for what we have under the hood?

The people who really follow college football (save some LSU fans) think Miles is the Jerry Sloan of college football. You know, he'll get us to the playoffs but not get a ring. You can tell by where we are ranked every year. LSU returns 8 defensive starters, and 7 offensive starters, the best tailback in the country and 2 quarterbacks. If Alabama returned that they'd be ranked#1. Ohio State returns that they are ranked #1. Coach Miles will get us a winning record, but no more rings will come to Baton Rouge, and like it or not, fans have been spoiled, this isn't the 80's, or the 90's. There are LSU fans out there that only know winning seasons. Buddy Songy used to say once you get a taste of filet mignon you don't wanna go back to spam.

Is it too much for fans to want a championship? Especially when all we hear about is how talented LSU is?

Gotta be a trick question. The obvious answer is too easy.

I should have also added known as quirky to the list. Of course it's not Les but it shows how perception is shaped by a few comments. It's current Meechigan HC Jim Harbargh who is called a genius while Les is considered a doof.
