Golden State has to go 2-2 on the road from here on out to break the record (if they go undefeated at home). The 4 games are: Minnesota Utah Memphis San Antonio If they win 3 of the 4, they can afford to lose 1 of their remaining 9 home games and still break the record.
Golden state narrowly avoids a 2 game losing streak vs lowly Minnesota. 10-2 the rest of the way breaks the record Next 8 of 9 are at home, only Utah on the road
Curry has been cold for two games in a row. That won't continue. They still almost beat San Antonio without his shooting, because they play great defense (especially when forced to). They want the 41-0 home record. If they do that, 73 is a done deal, as they would have to only win 1 of the last 3 road games, one of which is Utah.
correct, did you read the part about Curry's shooting woes won't continue? all credit to Pop, the 3rd greatest coach in NBA history (and climbing) after giving up 120 the first time around
thats my point, if they rely on him alone, they wont get to 72. Everyone else was pretty awful that night as well.
but they don't they play great defense and Klay Thompson can score 40 at a moment's notice......everybody on that team can shoot the 3 pointer and they have the hardest working man in the NBA, Draymond Green.
