I would have to side with Shane on this one, I've seen OKC play without Durant and on the other hand without Westbrook, and the team looks more like a team with a REAL leader with Westbrook. They need to build the team around Westbrook, The Durant/Westbrook experiment needs to end. They are so far from winning a championship, even with a new head coach.
Shane and I have been discussing this for some time now. Just like LSU will probably be a better team without Simmons okc may be better wo Durant at this point. Sounds ridiculous but I believe it. Your star has to work and lead on defense for the others to follow. Otherwise you'll never win shit. And you sure as fuck can never play for pop.
Watch him, gives absolutely no effort on d, doesn't even fake it. If he has a clear path to the basket he will slam it, put someone in his way he loses the ball. If he tries to dribble into the paint, loses the ball, someone comes to guard him on the perimeter -probably loses the ball. Passes -out of bounds or to a defender. Watch and you will see
