I think he is too. He's one of those guys that says he's not committing unless he knows and a verbal means something to him. Besides, how could things be going better. Speedy is not in the class and that would probably be the only thing that gives him pause.
Trey Quinn has about the same speed as Noil. So we definitely have a speed burner in this class, which is good.
Heard the interview. He doesn't sound like the average 17 yesr old athlete. Very well spoken and no doubt 100% LSU. Talked about how important he thought it was for him to help LSU recruit. Said he really wants to see Dupre a Tiger. Also said Grimes was indeed meeting the recruits and recruiting. Very intelligent young man that knows what he's doing and isn't a media whore like some of these very confused kids.
This young man is a treasure, an incredible athlete and a humble person. After watching a couple of hours of his game film I expect him to be exceptional. Good luck to Mr Quinn.
He's apparently been "laser-timed" at 4.39 in the 40, which is ridiculous. He's terribly underrated for the simple fact that he's white. How else would a guy with that speed & who broke DGB's receiving record not get a 5th star??
