Robinson was inexcusable. I mean Bama has had one fantastic O-line after another for the last 6 years. Usually ends up being the difference in tough and tight ball games. To not only strike out on an ultra elite O-lineman in your own backyard, but then to lose him to Bama. That kid is going to be 1st team All-American in a couple of years. Yikes. I can take losing a kid like Noil a lot easier. The guys in the trenches who can dominate at the point of attack. That's a much different story.
That one would kind of surprise me. He's not as shifty as most slot guys are. And he's bigger than most slot guys. He's built like an outside guy.
I wish I could like this multiple times. I know folks will bring up how well we do in other states, but I will never be okay with losing in-state guys of that caliber.
I couldn't agree with you more. But I'll say this about the kid - He was a Ouachita kid forever. Then, at the end of summer before his Junior year, he transferred to West Monroe. Right before camp started. Not sure what all went down, but it was real fishy.
Dude, look at Mett last season vs this season. Are you saying that potential receivers can't see what Cam can do with a quarterback in the off-season? Are you saying they can't see that we are willing to make them superstars and throw to them for 1000 yards? Are you saying because our qb got hurt and we had to play someone with what, 9 plays of gametime experience, that they will forget all of the explosive offense we had this year and decide that we will waste their talent? Really?
We shall see. I hope you're right. But given his choice, Miles wants to pound the rock. That's no secret. And if this kid is anywhere close to inept as JJ, then we'll try to hide him in the offense like we saw vs Iowa. Cam does indeed give us hope. That's our saving grace.
