The craziest thing to me is how wrapped up people get with the whims of 17 year old boys. Personally I want a kid to go where he feels most comfortable and WANTS to go. And not Bama, because I can't imagine anyone would ever feel comfortable after talking to Saban.
I'm not real sure on the percentages of all these recruits, but from sifting through these threads I'd say it's 500%, slam dunk no question @islstl aka izzy has his palms stapled to his keyboard at this very second, love your enthusiasm!
I was like that in the past some 5 or 6 years ago and it burnt me out. I had to take a year or two off from recruiting. Then when I got back into it, I learned just as you so eloquently put it, that you simply accept where these kids want to go and don't fret over it. Make no bones about it, this is a HUGE day for LSU football if we go 5 for 5. It is an epic day of recruiting success the likes we have never seen before for any one school.
I was trying to think about another epic recruiting day for one of these games like this. Maybe you can help...I seem to remember an Army game where it seemed like Notre Dame got everyone. I think Weis was the coach. However, they didn't have anything close to this many 5*
Yeah I am talking epic epic scale, not just getting a bumch of 4 stars. Nobody will be able to replicate what happens today if we get all 5.
Next year is supposed to be another big year. And we currently have one of the top in that class in CB Toliver II.
