If you find a guy that has all that AND can really chuck it, you've hit he lotto. If he has enough physical agility to be dangerous, you've hit the powerball. I'm betting Harris is gonna be that guy with a little experience under his belt. Right now with the three guys we have...eeehhhh.
True enough. But if you land that Powerball guy and let him run it a lot, you are letting your Lotto passer get pounded hard and sooner or later he will get hurt. It's a trade-off, of course, and a damn good reason to work up multiple quarterbacks and let the reserves get some PT. When QB's start taking injuries like running backs, a team must be deep there.
I'm not a fan of designed running QBs. I like guys who can make plays with there feet when all else breaks down. Maybe a sneak from time to time, but not a guy who's running by design 10 times per game. That's what the RBs are for.
