So true. I was talking with someone today about this same thing. Look at the kids Chief has sent into the Pros. Cams resume from his time in the Pro's is unmatched. Look at what LSU has to offer. LSU posting the second highest in the SEC Graduation Success Rate (GSR). Too many things to offer.

Same with coaches, many think its money, all too often, job security comes into play. I remember one coach told me that he was going into an interview, before the interview, his wife told him if they offer minimum wage, you take the job........ lol
Oh, he got the job, and above min. wage. Right now, LSU is one of the more secure jobs in college football. This is not only me talking, but a number of friends I know. It also helps that they pay well, very well.

LOL Yeh Aub will definately be his best ticket to the pros. Have fun at the bottom of the SEC.

Not sure if he is going straight to NFL or not but not surprised he committed to a school outside of LA given a recent incident in LaPlace. He has been staying away from his hometown because of a party that ended with his cousin being murdered. A note was found stating that Williams was next. Crazy...

If we end up with Upchurch, Noil, Quinn & Dupre this year, along with the kids on the roster now, nobody will miss this guy too much.

You didn't even figure in Blacknall, whose recruitiment seemingly might be up in the air at this point, although I still think he ends up at LSU.

But yes, with the group you just mentioned, I don't think we will be hurting if our WR crop ends right there. Dupre and Noil are special, and Quinn is right behind them. Upchurch is either going to be a matchup nightmare at the size he is or move to TE with another 15-20 lbs added on.

I think he is one of the best talents to come out of LA. But a possible one and done player considering the up to 4 year talent in the state makes this a lose we can live with. I actually feel like he was trying to stay out of trouble and is making the right decision to stay far away from Laplace. I don't believe Williams was this party but if he was he may not be here right now. We also don't have to deal with any slip ups that could result from his past.

If he's going to be "one and done" you'd think he would pick a team known for passing the ball and not getting beat by rivals...
