Chill, Titan. You can't stay away that long without having to take some shit.

He and Frank Wilson discussed this at length last night. Still wouldn't change LSU's spot with any one else in terms of signing him come NSD. Just wants to experience the whole recruiting process. I expect him to take all of his official visits.

I think he wants a coed sampler platter. Can't blame him. I bet we keep him in the end.

Been following it for years, its like this every year. How would you like to be a college coach during this time? Your job depends on recruiting.

Yeah, and kids are allowed to lie to coaches, but coaches aren't allowed to lie to kids.

Yep, well some coaches do tell lies.

Williams will be back. He just wants to enjoy the process.

There is some talk that he might think about skipping Div I ball altogether and head to the pros. That would be ill-advised...just look at all the players who have good Div I resumes and don't get drafted.

I handle recruiting for work and there are a lot of similarities. Every once in a while people will not accept an employment offer because of pay, but it's rare. Sometimes they will leave for a better offer, be it full time employment somewhere or a significant pay increase. However, I attract and retain people by creating a culture in our office that people want to be a part of. people look out for each other, they're recognized often for their success, appreciation is given on a daily basis and we play just as hard as we work.

Same for college football. CLM has created a culture that recruits and retains top prospects. Sure you're going to lose some, but you're going to attract and keep most of them and they do it because they WANT to be there and not because they have to be there.
