Last night my BF and I were talking with a friend of his who is a local H.S. assistant coach and he was telling me about Leonard Fornette who could be the top overall recruit in the nation in 2014 (whom i'm sure most of you already knew about), anyway saying he's one of the most talented football players to come out of LA in a long time and he's supposed to be at LSU this weekend for a camp. .......any idea how good he really is and LSU's chances with him? Bhelm? Anyone?
'Fournette' is how you spell his name, and he's a beast. he ran for close to 2,000 yards during both his freshman and sophomore seasons (his junior season is coming up in the fall). there are videos of him on YouTube. 247 Sports came out with their top 247 national recruits for 2014 a few weeks ago, and Fournette is in their top 5 overall, the #1 RB in the nation and the #1 recruit in Louisiana. he already has offers to schools like LSU, Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame, etc. he is from the same high school as TM7, etc so that should help us
But by the time he comes out, Ware, Ford and Blue will be gone. Plenty of room for Leonard Fournette.
Good read per Dandy Don.........what are your thoughts Bhelm? Any scoop? http://highschoolsports.nola.com/ne...ing-hot-on-the-recruiting-trail/#incart_river
I would give the edge to LSU. Especially given the number of commits and expected commits Bama has in 2013 and 2014
