I'm a high school official, I went watch this game friday night.......this dude is the best i have seen this year.....pretty easily too..... cougars wanted no part of him after the 1st quarter. This guy will be a very very nice pick up for whoever gets him next year...I just hope it is LSU!
I have a nephew who plays for the Cougars whom I went to watch, undersized and mean as a snake like his aunt .......anyway, he was telling me Fournette was the nicest guy, he came over to their huddle in the 4th qtr well before the game was over but it was well in hand for St. Aug and was shaking their hands, congratulating them on a hard fought game, telling them they were one of the hardest playing/well coached teams he'd ever played against, said he seemed so humble and almost ashamed of how good he is......thought that was classy of him.
How we lure him into TIGERS den will be interesting to follow. The gumps dang sure can make a hard sell for what the RB's of late have accomplished. Anyone close to him know if he/his family is an LSU fan?
I sat up next to some Saint Aug fans, one who said he drove in from Houston to watch, and asked them what the feeling was from their perspective and they all said he's all LSU's to lose, whatever that's worth.....probably not much but I liked hearing it.
With his name, he should be at LSU. Sounds like a throwback to years of lore. Malancon, Dardar, Gajan just to name a few. Add your name to that list, Mr. Fournette.
Bama hasn't come to Louisiana and gotten RB's that we wanted i don't think. Hopefully it won't happen with Mr. Fournette either.
