Isn't it interesting that Eddie Lacy, the guy from Louisiana seems to be the better pro, not Ingram or Richardson...

LSU puts tailbacks in the NFL too. Joe Addai, Keiland Williams, Trindon Holiday, Spencer Ware, Michael Ford, Stevan Ridley, and soon Jeremy Hill, Magee and Hilliard.

Come on down Leonard, you won't regret it.

Yep a QB that threw for 3,000+ yds, two WR with over 1000 yds each and a 1000 yd rusher. Yep the offense has looked bad this year.

I see that Alabama has 23 commits already and you can bet they are targeting Fournette as their No. 1 priority and maybe Dupre as No. 2.. They have been characterized as LSU locks, but are they really? Neither of the two seem to be in any hurry to commit to LSU. I suspect both are in play, especially Fournette.

bama as always has kids hanging. LSU is still in play with a bunch of players, as with every year in recruiting, going down to the wire. LSU is in great shape and will finish well. LSU coaches can get a read on most kids, it's your job. LSU has done a great job with fall back kids, an bringing in ones fans don't know about. Recruiting is not for the faint of heart

If you followed recruiting closely you would know that Fournette and Dupree among the others including Noil, Willis are all making their announcements at the under armour and army all american games...nothing to do with LSU doing a good job or not, this is when these kids want to announce, to have the spotlight on them

Yes, I know about the silly hat trick, but which color hat? I've already seen a couple that didn't work out well. I have no doubt about the staff working hard, they are all over the country right now. A couple of visits are very interesting. Travonte Valentine and Kevin Streeter. Those two guys would be real gets if they can pull it off.

I said this on another thread but I think LSU ought to go after some Alabama commits, esp the ones where Alabama has a real need like OL and that includes the ones in Monroe. Make the gumps spend time protecting their commits instead of spending their time concentrating on their final two targets. Like Dad said, recruiting is not for the faint of heart. Make it work both ways.

DISCLAMER TIME: What I'm about to post is purely rumor, so take it as such.

I got this from my uncle who's friends with a dude who's son plays for St. Aug. (I know it sounds like one of those 'my cousins girlfriend's brother in law's next door neighbor' kind of posts, but just bear with me) Following their playoff loss to Rummel last week, Fournette 'lost it'. He and the St.. Aug QB got into some sort of altercation. Following the fight, Fournette apparently shouted something to the effect of 'F-yall. F LSU. I'm going to Bama'. If this is even true, it's obviously a kid who was very emotional and upset after losing a close game, so I wouldn't read too much into it, if it even happened. Still, I hate hearing he's even leaning towards Bama, even if it is just a rumor; especially considering we lost Hootie Jones.

uh, I hate to ask the obvious here but what does losing a playoff game have to do with LSU?
