Cameron and the QB................... http://www.shreveporttimes.com/arti...d-Parkway-s-Brandon-Harris-LSU?nclick_check=1
Parkway beat Bastrop 79-56 Friday. Harris' numbers....16 of 26 passing for 314 yards and 4 TDs. 192 yards and 4 TD's rushing. I'll save you the math; that's 506 and 8.......wow. Just, wow.
The hometeam is like LSU this year. Haven't fielded a defense this bad in a VERY long time. Byrd put up 63 a couple weeks ago. Went to Mississippi and had 50 hung on them last week. Now this. It's been brutal. Just over 4 years ago it took Bastrop two seasons to give up 79 points TOTAL. Back in the days where they went five consecutive years putting at least two D-Linemen in BCS schools. There were 10-15 kids getting football scholarships every year with about 5 or 6 going to BCS schools. Now it's been no more than 3 or 4 for the past few years. Sorry for the hijack. On the flipside, I LOVE the fact that Harris is putting up those numbers...
Really excited about his potential and talent. These early intent letters are significant and more than I originally thought. This ensures a scholarship for Harris but if he decides to switch his commitment to another program there is nothing binding him to LSU. However, in exchange we can call and interact with him like he is already enrolled and signed to the University. Other schools recruiting Harris do not get those recruiting perks.
