Cam Robinson tweeted just a bit ago- "We're gonna get Hootie, it's a done deal but we're still working on it". Hope things work out and Hootie heads to BR, but there's going to be some snakes trying to move in to the chicken coop.
I wouldn't expect nothing less...same story different season. Talking back to all those twitter stalker LSU fans.
Which is a major point over-looked by a lot of fans. If the classes signed today there would be three kids from LA in Bama's class. If we look back at 2009—which is right around the tipping point when the majority of recruiting followers started looking at state commitments—there were three kids from LA in Bama's class. I've seen some reference Cam's ranking. That's not different from Collin's ranking in 2012 when Bama signed two from LA. FWIW, Bama signed two from LA in 2013...same story, different season. As I think about this a second...it's probably getting about time the notion of "closing state borders" in recruiting is retired.
So Bakari brings Cam Robinson (and maybe the other two) to the Alabama camp and Saban ignores him? You expect me to believe that?
I'm talking in general. I didn't mean in this particular instance. But at these camps there are dozens of young high school coaches working as counselors who get ignored. If he didn't have something for Saban, he'd be ignored to.
When you speak of Georgia having no equal, are you talking about the talent level? As far as harvesting the product, Richt has probably gotten more criticism from his fan base for not keeping the top tier of recruits at home than any SEC coach I have heard of. Regardless of how ridiculous it would be to assume any team can get them all, when the catch limit is 25, you need those top 5. All the press, hype, commentary, ends up being about the special blue bloods who are difference makers for programs. Regardless of geography for the state, fans know the staffs are fighting hard for these guys and to lose them does feel like someone is kicking your butt. Richt has gotten killed when once again Alvin Kamara, Tyren Jones, Carl Lawson, Montrevius Adams, Robert Nkemdiche, Ruben Foster, just this past recruiting cycle, have all headed for greener pastures.
If this guice dickbag isn't having to buy 4 new tires every fucking day he wakes up in the state of Louisiana then people in west monroe are doing it wrong. Same goes for anyone in any town that is on sabans bag. These fuckers need to be told in a not so nice way to hit the bricks.
