Years ago, the Falcons starting OG went down, the OL coach looked at his backup guard, then chose not to use him, but then moved the starting OC to to the guards spot, he then brought in his backup center. An that my friends is how Todd McClure got his start in the NFL.
Oh don't get me wrong, I agree with you. Just stating the practice. I don't want to see constant subs like along a D-Line, but I agree, in games that have been won, switch it up. Especially if the team you've won against still has their starters in.
Bobby didn't get to play QB at South Lafourche till his Sr year. Bobby played Safety his Jr year, during his Sr year, the LB from the previous year was moved to the QB position. When the replacement LB went down, the former LB playing QB was moved back to his LB position. Bobby was then moved from Safety to the QB position. An that's when he first got his start at QB.
