None as of now, remember this, LSU looks to only have 9 Srs. next year. An from what I see, with great Jr years maybe around 3 that could leave early. But as with every year, we'll see how things play out. LSU will be very selective in this next class, also Cam will have his input on some of the players on that side of the ball. Long way till signing day.
LOL...Don't worry about Fournette......he is to big a name to give an early commitment. He's more than likely going to be an all star game announcement type guy for a recruiting tool for other recruits.
There are a number of kids from LA in the Rivals 100, Fournette being one of the two 5-stars. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/rankings/rank-3235 EDIT: Looking some more, the 250 is stocked with Louisiana talent all the way through as well.
Louisiana stands to have the #1 RB, the #1 O-Lineman, and the #1 TE in the country next year. Good chance the state will have as many as five 5-star recruits with Fournette and Robinson already having theres and Hootie Jones, Gerald Willis, and Jacory Washington (#1 TE) having strong shots at earning their 5th stars. Trey Quinn may not get a 5th star, but notice his rating (5.9) is only slightly behind 5-stars Fournette and Robinson (6.1). So with him likely breaking state records next season and having great speed and decent size, he will work his way high up the rankings. Just don't see him getting that 5th unless he gets the to Under Armour or Army game practices and really turns heads a'la Tre'Davious White. The state is absolutely loaded next year. I was worried about Fournette because of Crutchfield's involvement but with Bama loaded at RB and us possibly only having J. Hill for one more season if he keeps the momentum going, the door is wide open for him to walk in and really contribute. The skill position recruits should be excited about Cameron's involvement in the offense (especially RBs and TEs). Ray Rice complained a little bit, but here are a few guys who have eaten well under his tutelage...Ladanian Tomlinson, Michael Turner, Ray Rice, Antonio Gates, Todd Heap, Dennis Pitta, Randy McMichael. With the exception of Pitta because he's young, all either made pro-bowls under Cameron or found themselves as the most sought after free-agents on the market (Turner). Remember Cameron was the OC when Tomlinson made it a one-horse race for best RB in the league. I'm excited about this guy and what he means for our offense and our recruits should be too!
That is the Magic question......I'm thinking 15-18 or so.......bhelm could probably be more help, right bhelm....how many scholarships do you see available for next year? That's why I think the brown kid from texas would get a track scholarship.
You know how it goes. If they want to sign 25 guys, they'll sign 25 guys. I don't expect we'll sign a class that big but there is ALWAYS more attrition than we expect. I think there are only like 9 or 10 seniors because of that mass exodus this past year, but I see 3 or 4 juniors who have a chance to go (Hill, Johnson, Collins, and Hilliard because of his kids) and there are always guys who leave because of the competition. I think we'll sign anywhere from 17-20. That's enough to get those top guys La. has. Fence em in!
