She enrolled at LSU last Jan/Feb to run track. She has fully expected her brother to join her here. They are extremely close. She once told a story that her dad would buy her a car if she went to LSU. He had a stroke a few months before she committed. She has been very active with LSU staffs and Tony throughout the recruiting process. After the ceremony she broke down according to reporters at the game.
Really because even she said "Roll Tide" when he committed which made me vomit in my mouth a bit that an LSU student would say such a thing.
She was probably just trying to be supportive of her brother. I'd rather her do that than be a classless gasbag like April Justin.
She really did. She showed support for her brother which isn't unexpected. If it is any consolation she did have purple lipstick on. lol
Sounds like her brother is a dick then. If he wanted to go to Bama, that's fine, really it sucks for us but I'd respect his decision. But you string your own sister along for a year?thats some cold blooded shit right there. As far as her Roll Tide comment goes, I still don't excuse it. You can support your brother and say you want the best for him and then leave it at that. Maybe it's an awkward situation but if you're an LSU student athlete I don't see any situation, ever, where Roll Tide comes off your lips.
One thing I didn't think about but makes sense now, is that Tabor pulled a stunner and didn't go to Bama. That should have alerted us that Brown to Bama was really going to happen and the reason Tabor didn't pull the trigger for Bama.
Just a strange one. If you're so serious about track and field, why Bama? I don't think this one sticks...unless he's indicating he's done with track. Not sure if any of you read his insider article on espn but he even talked about how important it was to not be far away from his father. Just strange.
Funny, b/c my wife pointed out right before LF made his choice that his mom had on purple eye shadow and said "he's picking LSU". I didn't even notice until she pointed it out, then 10 sec later he said "University of", and I paused, then could tell he was reaching for an LSU hat. I turned to my wife, "you were right on."
