    Then you won't like recruiting. In this generation, it's all about building the hype. That's what this whole week has been about. They all want to shock the world. I hate it too but reading these threads all day doesn't help things but I do it anyway.

    We've been seeing these games televised for how long now; five or six years?

    The advent of twitter has had a lot to do with this...but I have to say the Rivals.com group have done a hell of a job keeping the suspense running with recruiting this year.

    In the end it's no different than the last few years. There's always a verbal that stumps everyone. And, there very rarely is a such thing as a "shocker."

    Hrrrmmm...has me thinking. Was it Fred Rouse who was the first to say, "I'm going to shock the world" with his verbal and he ended up committing to FSU—the school basically next door?

    Don't forget having two true freshmen starting at CB this year and others in the fold may have made Brown look for greener pastures. Bama's CBs were weak last/this year.
