Well, I'm disappointed. Hardeman was not recruited as a true cornerback, but as a TM style nickle back. An aggressive, hard nosed player, he was one of the top sprinters in Texas when he was younger (ran a 10.8 100 meters when he was 14 yo) apparently gave up track for football. I had visions of this little rocket coming off the edge and being on the QB before he knew it. A&M on him hard I'll bet.
Guy is currently about as big-time a recruit as you can be...He is on the Scout200, Rivals250, ESPN300 and still currently has offers to: SECW: aTm, Ole Miss, Miss St SECE: Georgia, Tennessee Other: Ohio State, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Nebraska, West Virginia, UCLA, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, Baylor, Wake Forest, Utah, Purdue, Kansas, Indiana, SMU, Texas Tech, Rice, Houston, Colorado St Pretty big time recruit
A year ago Hardeman believed he could follow in TM7's footsteps as a nickelback and kick returner. As time passed, though, I think he looked at LSU's roster and near-future roster additions and realized that chances to play were slim. He is a smart, networked kid who is going to find a football home away from LSU. Rather than a lose-lose situation, I think this is a win-win situation for both Hardeman and LSU.
I wouldn't rely on posted heights unless in comes from a National Combine camp. Never rely on a prospect saying what they are either. Based on pics I have seen with other prospects he is very tiny in height, arm length, etc... I would say 5'8 is forgiving and think 5'7 is more believable.

LOL. Hardeman has been measured and weighed at enough camps for me to believe he is what he's listed at. 5'8", 190. I know one thing for sure. He's a playmaker, something that's been in short supply at LSU the last couple of years. BTW, how tall was TM7?
