Read this and you'll understand why I have said his choice is still up in the air. http://espn.go.com/college-football...p-uncommitted-football-recruit-adoree-jackson I know he has seemed a little full of it but honestly I think he is just torn. I feel a little sorry for him considering everything he's been through and all the pressure/contact from everyone.
From the recruiting guy on my home site....according to a source close to Adoree, he thinks his current order of choice is USC, Florida, LSU, ucla but still too close to call. IMO, if he really is this torn, perhaps he shouldn't choose tomorrow and delay until the deadline. Better that then regret what he might feel forced into.
I think Sarkisian's offensive mindset was able to show Adoree' how they would be able to utilize his talents on that side of the ball. And if that becomes a big part of his decision, then USC lands him. I don't think LSU or Florida would contend with USC in that capacity (especially Florida with their extreme issues on offense). LSU has the inside track regarding track and being a 2 sport star. Again, how ultimately important is it to him? I think this is why he is torn. He has a lot to think about.
If he is serious about being good at something, he will drop the two-sport nonsense. If he's going to run track, he will be missing out on Spring Practice which is when teams start installing packages. There is more to football than just running fast. As for the offensive scheme, I would match Cam against Sark any day. If SC has any offensive advantage, it's getting to play against those soft-ass defenses.
He's not going to UF he's never even visited. Players don't usually commit without 1 visit. LSU is in good shape here, it's us or USC
Did you notice the photo caption in the ESPN link posted above? It said "5-star CB Jackson eyes Rio Olympics." That would seem to be an indicator.
Considering I'm the one that made the post mentioning Miami...yeah, I know what the point of my comment was to CS. Your point about the 13 players being in the NFL that were defensive backs? I'm well aware of that just like I was well aware of what CS was saying in his post. It matters little if you feel that entitles LSU to refer to itself as DBU. You can find fans from a half of a dozen schools that'll be willing to argue that point. I don't care.
