He's the closest thing to TM7 I've seen lately and I understand he's being recruited for that role. He's in LA and I'm guessing he's got his head full of the Cardinals TM7 and PP7 and maybe Eric Reid up in SF. I'd be very disappointed in him if he doesn't see the opportunity here.
Got it. I think he can play both sides. He spent unofficial time at USC and ucla this weekend. He was in westwood with Jordan Lasley and Dwight Williams and with Olajuwon Tucker and Jalen Greene at USC. Seriously.....I think at this moment, he still is not definite on where he is going. This is a last minute choice IMO.
I've seen TM7 and Adoree have back-and-forth conversations on Twitter. Adoree is very well aware of DBU.
"As it stands, there are currently 13 former Tigers manning NFL rosters at the defensive back position. Of those 13, 11 played under Les Miles, most of which were recruited to LSU by him. No other school can boast as many. It's spawned T-Shirts. The number will grow with Craig Loston. And players like Jalen Mills, Tre White, and Rashard Robinson may be draftable as well." - Paul Crewe, ATVS
@dudley If you look at the BCS era, the team with the most kids drafted in the first three rounds in Miami. That was the point...
No, that wasn't the point at all. The point was that LSU has 13 players currently playing DB positions in the NFL, more than any other ANY other school and that includes Miami. I'd say that entitles LSU to refer to itself as DBU, as bad as you hate to admit it The BCS era wasn't mentioned nor was the draft position. BOOMER SOONER!!!
USC only has 7 current DB players in the NFL, so major hat tip to LSU. I do think that the game yesterday proved that first round drafts don't always dominate. Hell, the MVP of the game last night wasn't even invited to the combine and was drafted in the 7th round. Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor weren't taken until the 5th round. Shit happens.
