LSU gets that tall rangy WR they were desperately needing.

Will be in the rotation from the get go.

6'4" 191 with 4.4 speed, it's a shame mett won't be able to throw to him, but I'm sure rivers will love him

Why do you think Mett won't get to throw to him?

Kid looks good but 4.4 is a bit of a stretch.

Have to agree with u. We already have a talented and close knit group of receivers (although a little on the shorter side) and by most accounts, they are developing a strong connection with Mett. Don't think the staff would bring in a juco guy that couldn't get on the field and produce immediately.

lot to be excited about with this guy

--taller than every WR on our current roster

--as a JUCO freshman last year, he caught a TD every 2.8 catches, averaging 18.7 yards per catch

--as a junior in high school, he caught a TD every 1.5 catches, averaging over 26 yards per catch

--he's rated a Top 3 JUCO WR on the National Underclassmen JUCO Top 25 (the other tall WR on there, Jonathan Rumph, has an offer to LSU as well, the 3rd WR on there is only 5'11" -- Jatavius Stewart)

--he has offers to Florida, Arkansas, Auburn, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Nebraska, Arizona State, Washington, Miss State, Ole Miss, etc

--last year, coming out of high school, he had offers to LSU, South Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma State, West Virginia, Clemson, etc

--he was all-state in both football and basketball in high school (in basketball, he averaged 18.2 ppg as a senior)

--he's from the same neck of the woods of Georgia as J.C. Copeland

    --LSU All-Name Team

--2013: JR. Odell Beckham, JR. Jarvis Landry, JR. Quantavius Leslie
