    Now 4-1 after wild.pitch gets runner on 3B and scores on another beautiful squeeze bunt

    Watched the game .... was tough seeing Nola be so dominant and then him go out in the 8th and it just fall apart.

    Good news is you saw how they showed all those pro scouts with their radar guns and taking notes, and i think Nola looked more dominant than Stanek (who also dominated), and Nola looks a lot younger than Stanek, Nola looks young for his age, Stanek not so much. Think about Nola when he grows into a man at his prime in MLB, he's going to be scary

    Look how narrow the warning track is against that angled wall. The Vandy left fielders get used to it, I suppose, but opponents must hate it. Two sharp angles in the wall plus a coffin corner. I bet long ball hit into that corner sometimes bounces off two walls.

    You're right about that corner. It's a stand-up double at the least I'd think.

    Oh definitely, Nola did look a lot better than Stanek (not that Stanek isn't amazing though). Just hurt to see Joey then LaMarche just blow the game like that.

    The tournament really doesn't mean much of anything for both us and Vandy with 2 guaranteed national seeds already sewn up. If it did, Mainieri had better talent in the bullpen to throw out there.
