He is already practicing and getting ready for the season. Coach says he is 100%.

Possibly will be the highest ranked Rivals Pro-Style QB LSU has ever nabbed if we keep his commitment (currently ranked 5th in that list).

    Russell was ranked 6th.
    J Lee 7th.
    Jefferson 8th.
    Z Lee 9th.
Mettenberger 11th (when he committed to Georgia).
    Flynn 16th.
    Garrett 18th.
    Rivers 19th.

well, I know the kid personally and I talked up LSU to him at my house and back in the Little League days - his family might figure out who this is if they ever ventured onto forums like this

Hayden told me back when he was 12 that LSU was his favorite team, despite his Mom being an Oregon State alum and his dad being a heathen from usc (and not south carolina)

I was his first recruiter for LSU and kept telling him that if he wanted to play serious big time football, LSU was the place to be - he used to come over to our house, in the midst of usc and ucla country, he'd see the LSU flag flying in front of our house

He emailed my son and said "dude, I'm going to LSU" and is very excited

Les Miles should thank me first because I was the first LSU voice in his ears

But I will tell Hayden that if he loses to alabamer 4 years in row, I do know where he family lives......

Hayden will fit in great at LSU - he's fun and has a great attitude and leadership - I still laugh at the stories and his expressions that I used to hear and see when he was riding with my son and I somewhere and he'd starting talking

he should have been born on the bayou and I hope he has a blast at LSU
