I'm wondering if Hoover really took it out of our guys, and a lot of other teams as well. Looking around the other regionals today, the SEC has struggled big time on day 1.

Hebert on radio again "LSU WINS IN A STRUGGLE"

    Did anybody expect less?

You saw how Mainieri just said last week winning the SECT isn't as hard as winning a regional

I'm glad all the callers they are taking realize we are in a battle royal

Hebert now to caller: LSU fans know their baseball and we expected JSU to bring it

Caller: that was a really good team that played LSU

It's funny, because i saw one retard on this forum say today that ULL would be the only one to have a chance to challenge us, and one radio caller before the game said the same thing.

Oh and what makes the two "ULL is our only threat" tards i've heard more interesting is every single other person I've seen thinks SHSU is our biggest threat

It's like the Miss State regional, pretty much everybody agrees its the hardest regional, despite how they have three teams you have never heard of to battle

Now Jeff Palermo is on: "I'LL SUM IT UP THE SAME WAY MAINIERI DID: PAINFUL...REALLY TOUGH....TOUGH........TOUGH....TOUGH DAY.....SIX PITCHERS TODAY, NOT WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT"

Now they are trying to break down injuries to BOSS and Rhymes, he thinks Rhymes will be back with a stitched up mouth, BOSS not so much, he's in the hospital

Jeff Palermo back.on radio: saying he's calmed down some and we might "still be okay" ..."as bad as it was today, it could still be a lot worse..as bad as it was today...we have Mainieri as our coach....we need Nola to go 9 tomorrow...hope Eades comes back in Sunday...."

My take: Jeff offers nothing and is a waste of space

Herbert: thanks, Jeff for breaking it down

    Mainieri on radio:

Rhymes face was all busted up, not just his lip, but we hope he can play

Bregman is in hospital, doesn't sound good...not looking good

    "we will be okay"

Huge adjustment facing JSU pitchers' stuff....they were really good
