Look at tape on Jennings. I've never seen a high school qb look off receivers and go through progressions like he does. Thats something that Jordan Jefferson and even Jamarcus Russell had trouble doing throughout their careers. He also has great pocket awareness for a kid his age.

No, just you. And stop trying to put words into my mouth. I just made an observation that we need another arm more than another pair of feet at QB. It could end up Jennings arm, but 8 for 21 ain't glittering numbers when everyone is there to see. Just my opinion, take it or leave it.

So what? In the past 40 years I have heard just about everything from the "insiders" and almost half of it turns out to be true.

I didn't say that at all. And I never said anything about anyone's color. That is all your bullshit.

Most of the praise was because of the way the played. Good arm, stayed in the pocket, threw the ball away when needed, looked comfortable especially for a freshman and against the 1st team defense. Has looked really good all Spring.

That's 3 Heisman-winning, dual threat QBs from the SEC in recent memory. There are more successful Tebows, Newtons, Manziels, Woodsons, etc., than Stafford, Malletts, Staffords, etc. in recent memory. Not enough to say that one is better than the other, but enough to point out that running QBs can and do succeed in the SEC.

I am hoping that Mett/Jennings compare favorably to the performance LSU saw from Flynn/Perrilloux...

Cam was the only one to produce a championship during that Heisman season. We just need consistency at the position. Quarterback can't be a liability anymore like it has been in the past.

Tebow and Manziel didn't even win their division when they won that bullshit award.

it is pretty evident that this guy isn't a running QB based on his HS film and success. Pretty much all recruiting analyst said he was a pass 1st type of QB with the ability to run and very good at that as well and anyone who watched any of the scrimmages would see that. Cam will use all of his tools. Remember this kids was the MVP of the Elite 11 and that has nothing to do with running the ball.
