while we are behind bama and florida....we are not behind ole miss. Bama and florida are nothing new....florida is such a talent rich state they will always be high. Bama as long as saban is there will always recruit well. rivals has us at 5 and ole miss at 7.....it's the fresh face on the block and the fact that they finished off the year strong.....give them another year and lets see where they stand.

You can throw a blanket over the top 6 teams, would be very hard to differentiate if you didn't know the numbers.

True....it typically comes down to who picked up that sleeper 2 or 3 star guy that comes out of no where to be a stud. These classes can only be truly judged three years down the road.

Jennings is a pass first QB, with the ability to run.

A class without a running back bothers me a bit. It only takes a couple of injuries to make us very thin at RB.

Brazil could play RB, not a big need right now.

Recruiting is only half of the equation. Development is as important if not moreso. Look at Jalen Mills, Tyrann Mathieu, and Jacob Hester in recent years.. underrated guys from a recruiting service perspective who all produced tremendously for LSU and should play on Sundays.

Our biggest get is the JUCO WR because of his height, length, and speed. We really missed having a guy with those abilities last year once RR went pro.

Agreed. But maybe a gamble worth taking if we can get a stud next year and entice him with immediate playing time. I wonder if there is anyone in Les' plans?

I suspect you're being coy cause Leonard Fournette of St. Aug is an absolute monster that hopefully ends up in the Purple and Gold a year from now.
