Anybody else concerned about the lack of height at WR next year if RR leaves?

The only two WR with any height are Wright and Williams and they haven't made much of an impact.

    No, not concerned.

I cannot wait to see Jarvis Landry at WR. I'm thinking he will be another Dwayne Bowe type of receiver.

Bowe is currently 6'2 221, Bowe WAS 6'2 202 as a freshman at LSU. Yes this still means he has a little height on Landry, but Landry will most likely throw on a little weight, and who knows may grow another inch, which would make their physical stature pretty dang close.

What I'm getting at is the physical nature with which both play. If Landry's special teams play is any indication of how he will play in the open field as a WR.........watchout DBs because he is coming for you!

Given the choice I'll take physicality over height in this league. We need that as an answer to bump-and-run coverage like Saban loves to use. Tolliver was a tall dude, but he hated contact, and that hurt him somewhat as a go-to receiver.

I'll take Wright and Landry any day of the week. Now we have a qb who can throw the ball to them. Just hope he plays.

Could Blue be the next great wide receiver for LSU in the Josh Reed mold?
