    and Miss State wins the SECT, beating Vanderbilt 3-0 in the championship game

    according to the Clarion-Ledger, Miss State's pitching staff, which is by far #1 in the SEC in team ERA, only allowed one run in their last 26 innings

    It's the first time Vandy has been shut out in over 2 months

    That sucks for UK because they had already beaten State earlier in the tourney. State should have had to beat them twice to advance.

    State has been on fire these last few weeks. Great time to peak. Congrats to them for winning the tourney.

    That they have. Swept UK last weekend of the season and only lost one game in the tourney in route to the championship. With that pitching, they're going to be a tough out in their regional.
