South Carolina won the National Championship the past two years, 2010 and 2011. Wanna know what their record was in the SEC tournament those two years? 1 win and 4 losses. Going 1-2 in the SECT sucks. It sucks big time. Not sucks so much as in the team's performance or effort, but sucks that we as Tiger fans don't get to celebrate another SECT title. Anybody remember what happened in 1997? We lost 2 out of 3 to Alabama at the end of the regular season, including a 28-2 embarrassment. Then we beat them in the semi-finals of the SECT, only to lose to them for the SECT championship. We won the National title that year. Guess who we beat to win it all.....that's right, Alabama.

My point is, this means very little as far as the NCAA tournament is concerned. We'll be a national seed and we'll see where we go from there. After getting snubbed last year, I can't wait. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!

The umpire really put LSU behind in the first inning. Not blaming the ref here, but wow, that was some awful strike calls at a critical juncture.. twice.

LSU I think did more than enough to secure a regional.

Vanderbilt had a run of amazing plays to secure Saturday's win against Florida and advance to play MSU in Sunday's championship game. I think without question the play of the game was a triple steal!

Wasn't this a double elimination tournament; except for the championship game? If so, what happened to Kentucky? Best I can tell, they only lost one game:

Tues: Kentucky 2-0 over Ole Miss
Thurs: Kentucky 5-1 over Miss. State
Sat: Kentucky loses 2-1 to Miss. State. This was their only loss for the tournament. I thought State had to beat them twice to advance to championship game?

The semi-finals and championship game are single elimination rounds.
