I think I just set a personal record for profanity. I apologize and will try to tone it down. Please don't ban me or anything.. Maybe, after about a six pack of beer, I should quit posting... :milesmic:
two reasons. well, three. 1. to at least take the in home visit. why leave it unused? 2. as a courtesy to the family who wanted him at lsu. 3. most important, imo, is because he has a little brother. if the kid is good, lsu needs to do everything they can to keep the gf's mamma from getting her hooks into him, too (hope there isnt a little sister). keep as much contact with the family as is legal (which means reasons 1 and 2).
i agree he is going to bama and his mind is made up. but the reasons i gave see logical, at least to me. staying in touch with the family for the little brother seems to be a good reason, imo.
Went to a wedding once and saw the mother of the groom acting a fool, because of her insistence to dislike the bride. I was left thinking, every camera that she just stared into without so much as a plastic smile and the undue attention she drew to inform one and all of her inner most feelings, was foolish and forever. The most appropriate symbol that evening, was the brides choice of color, black, for truly mom might as well have been attending a funeral. Well a short time passed and mom became a grandmother and grew to love the daugher and went nuts over the grandchild like they always do. But those sad and crazy wedding pictures are forever and so is the memory everyone had of the mom's insistence to let everyone know exactly how she felt for that selfish moment in time. Watching Landon's mom made me think, there's another moment that's forever. You won't get it back mom. And this time, millions of your friends can remind you, in the biggest event in your kids life, you were at a funeral.
The Mom may be thinking any girl that will use her son for her personal gain so she can go to Bama doesn't have her son's best interest at heart.
Nick Saban to Atlanta RB: You can’t sign with Alabama until next year | AJC College Sports Recruiting
"What will do you do this fall? “He said I’m going to stay in Georgia. They are going to find me a job." Is that Legal ? "“Tennessee came through and I only talked to them one time. They gave me a number and the number didn’t even work. " And what does that mean. Tennessee gave him a number ? A number of what, a jersey number ?
My understanding is that he has to be on scholarship. 3 star with a bad knee injury. Only 3 offers and not sure but Alabama may have been the only one that stuck with their offer. I'm sure the Yeldon flip has plenty to do with the dynamics of this one.
