I don't think the GF mom had that much pull and hate for LSU. To my understanding she has one or two daughters currently attending LSU.
I heard he didn't have the courtesy of letting Miles know he was committing to Bama...didn't look like he let his own mom know....huge maturity problem there. (we dodged a bullet, I think) Best of luck Landon.
I while being disappointed like most here, would like to wish the kid the best. It hurts when you lose great in state talent to another school especially Bama. Congrats to the Gumps for snagging a great talent from our backyard. No need for us to cry over it. We still have a scholarship to fill. We're too good of a program at this point to be worried about the loss of one player. Besides with our talent for recruiting we'll be turning our next 3 star prospect into an All-American. Geaux Tigers!
I wish LC the best and hope we dominate Bama for years to come regardless where LC signs. If I were a OOS top prospect I would never sign with Bama because Little Nicky is so unpredictable. Now if I were an in state guy and had been a Bama fan all my life that would be different. I will be highly surprised if Little Nicky doesn't follow his success back to the NFL for one more shot due to his EGO. I also wouldn't be surprised (assuming he makes up his mind to stay at the collegiate level) if he ended up somewhere like Texas or another similar power program. Texas is overall less pressure and easier to recruit. He would make as much or more money without the insane fan and Admin pressure. As an OOS top prospect I wouldn't risk my future on his flip flop ways unless as I said I happened to be a die hard Bama fan anyway. I'm appreciative for everything Saban did for LSU but I call it like I see it. I'm glad he's gone so every year we don't have to go through the where is he going games etc. Although he wouldn't admit it I'm sure if he had an opportunity to do things over he would have never left LSU. I also suspect in hindsight his wife would have put her foot down as well on leaving. I'm very happy how things have turned out for LSU. JMHO

Folks need to lighten up. Makes us LSU fans look bad to be doing all this spewing, especially the bad mouthing people's families, like the comments about the GF's mom that now appear to be a bunch of BS. We're better than that. Be good sports. Move on. Kick his ass on the field.
