Ha. No way he'd tweet it if it was true. Landon would be pissed. The fact he tweeted that makes me even more sure he's going to Bama. Oh well.

MY sources are still holding firm with Collins to LSU. Fact is, NOBODY knows right now. You can pay for subscriptions and you still don't get anything much more concrete than you get here from BHelm and others. The only difference is, here you have to sift thru trolls and posers and figure out who actually has a clue. BHelm has a clue.

It's like that on other free sites as well. It's not that the info isn't there, it's that you don't know who actually has a clue.

FWIW, I'm going 75% LSU. May pull a hat trick on Bama, but 75% he's gonna commit to LSU tonight. Further, even if he DOES commit to Bama tonight, I'd say 85% he SIGNS with LSU on NSD.

However, if he puts the LSU hat on tonight, 5% chance of switch to Bama on NSD...and that's using rounded up numbers.

Double reverse psychology. He knows people will think like you and think it's Bama but it's really LSU. BOOM!

    Here is your statement:

"I heard from my inside source that he is committing today so we won't have to speculate anymore. Thank goodness!"

So on one hand, if you really mean that he is simply only giving a verbal commitment, why the hell you declaring some "inside source" is telling you this, when it's been known for several days he was announcing at the game tonight?

On the other hand, that statement totally implies that you think the process is completely over and that his commitment is final, which as we know is never the case in recruiting (we'll be nervous over this guy until NSD).

I can't believe I have to explain this. This thread is full of people say they heard from some knowledgeable source that he is either going to LSU or Bama. Seems like everyone has an uncle or a second cousin who is privy to the situation. I was simply making a sarcastic remark saying that we will all know tonight where he is committing so the speculation of where he is committing can end...not where he will sign. I never said anything about signing. After tonight we will know where he is committed to. Will that change? Possibly, but it won't change the fact that he is making a commitment this evening.

I am still very firm in saying Collins will be at LSU on NSD and I can say the same about making it public tonight. Earlier in the week on another board a said I wouldn't be surprised at this point if he gave the word to Bama on TV and then switch but I don't see pops letting him do that.

I haven't gotten bogged down in the hype in a long time ever since I heard from friends of his that he told them to go tell everyone and their mothers that he was going to Bama to create drama. He didn't want to be the one causing the confusion so he let others do it for him.

He called and talked to Les, Cooper, Wilson last night and they also talked to his parents and brother (2013 recruit). That says a lot to me.

    You're the man Bhelm. Thanks

I've been pouring over tons of messages on the other boards but you and Dad have the best info and are the most level headed around.
