    Aggies are on suicide watch.

Officially switched his commitment to LSU a few minutes ago.

Probably the weirdest recruitment I have seen to date.

Basically slammed Miles and LSU 3 days ago in an interview with an A&M reporter at their 1 day camp. Also said in the interview there is no way he is not an Aggie by signing day. Headed straight to BR and huge out with all the coaches, players, cousin, etc... and came back to the camp 3 days in a row including working out with the RBs. (We originally offered him as a WR and then Miles told him he would be the only RB we offer) Miles set things straight and then commits today.

That is only a fraction of the tale and basically reinforces the rule to focus more on a prospects actions rather than what they say.

Sounds like a flake, and not too bright. I would stay away from this kid. Trouble's going to follow someone this impulsive and frankly dumb kid.

I hate to say it, but I agree. Some of it can be blamed on youth, but this kid is all over the place. That interview was 3 days before he committed to LSU. If so I wouldn't consider him a solid commitment until he shows up for spring practice and moves into the team dorm.

Sometimes we forget these are 18 year old kids who are getting a ton of attention.
I would cut the kid some slack, I would say list him as a VERY soft verbal.
But we need to stop thinking these high school kids are going to act like a 35 year old man.

I hate to compare because it is a different situation but I get a wierd feeling from this guy. He and his father claim he was coaxed into thos answers. He didn't seem coaxed or cornered at all to me. Seemed glad to just keep talking and keep bashing. I could see this guy flipping again if he doesn't constantly get his "love". No offense Devante. Ur a talent and it's great to have u aboard but ur lucky to be a tiger. This whole thing reminds me of Dexter Pratt for some reason.

But yes he is basically a child so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Nothing like Dexter Pratt, Pratt had a problem with drugs. This kid just made a mistake in doing that one interview.
