Was going to ask that same question. Since he was "talking" him up to ole miss with him, does he try and bring into LSU? What's the chances we some Patterson because of this.

ESPN only has two LSU commits ranked higher than Liggins on the ESPN150 (Vadal Alexander #75, Torshiro Davis #77, Liggins #118)

and 247 Sports only has one LSU commit ranked higher than Liggins on their Top 100 (Torshiro Davis #74, Liggins #93)

I wonder how this affects our recruiting a premier QB prospect next year.

Liggins has an impressive offer list: Bama, LSU, Southern Cal, Oregon, Miami, Nebraska, Georgia, Arkansas, Auburn, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Miss State, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, etc

i wonder how many of them were recruiting him as a QB? if he doesn't play QB, where does he play, DE, DT, OL, TE, FB, RB? I wonder if we told him he'll get a year to train with the QBs like we did with Shep, and then we'll decide then if it'd be best for him to stay at QB or not. Florida's All-SEC TE Cornelius Ingram was a QB as a recruit (Scout had him as the #11 QB), he went to Florida and was a QB for a year, then switched from QB to TE as a sophomore, and eventually got drafted.

also, here's another pic of Liggins from tonight (with his purple and gold Mardi Gras beads) so you can decide how fat you think he is:

he's a cancer survivor that lost one of his kidneys. good read on it:

Rivals.com Football Recruiting - Liggins beats cancer to become star

also, according to that article, it appears most schools were recruiting him as a QB:

Likely DT or possibly DE with his speed if QB doesn't work out. Dude is pretty built. Not much fat besides some junk in the trunk like Rohan Davey. Film looks great.

Pretty much takes some pressure off. We don't have any top prospects in-state and the best one we have is going to be at A&M. (Long line of Aggies in his family which means he likely hates LSU).

I guess we have two extremes to choose from: Liggins 6'3" 270lbs or Rivers 6'7" 200 lbs. Big boy vs bean pole. I hope both can chuck the rock.

This kid ain't playing on the D-line.

A more athletic Rohan Davey. But they will have to work on his mechanics. He's really raw and has an unorthodox delivery. He doesn't have a slow delivery at least. We've seen enough of that.

Not that it really matters in the overall scheme of things; what does this to for us in the various rankings?
