    We offered him early and also holds offers from Tennessee and San Diego St.

    Many consider him the top long snapper in the country. Out of Buford, GA.

    Also teammate of top OT Vadal Alexander. :D

    Wow, have we ever given a scholarship to a long snapper direct out of HS? Seems like usually its someone who's been offered at another position or, as in the case of current LS Joey Crappell, they start out as a preferred walk-on.

    I am sure there has been but not lately. Not a bad move IMO given he will be here in January and set to start from day one.

    Think it speaks of the depth/talent in the eyes of the coaching staff on the future teams. With the 25 limit now in effect to give one to a LS tells me that they feel very confident with the unnderclassman.

    both our deep snappers, Alex Russian (scholarship) and Joey Crappell (walk-on), are seniors so we need one

    also, this kid is supposed to good enough to come in and start right away and give us 4 years of solid play
