I saw it, had no barring on my comment. We could have 10 DE committed, Clowney is good enough to start before most of them.
If he's going to be a LB, thats AWESOME.........2 badass LA bred LB's on roster for 2012 already. My comment about Clowney was just saying that it may look like we're moving past him already by taking DE's for next season, and its another person signing at his position. Sure, not a big deal, but as slim as our chances may be, I hope everything looks/sounds like the absolute perfect fit for him and exceeds all his expectations when he visits. God, can you imagine a DLine with DE - Rasco / Montgomery / Aghayere / Adams DT - Freak /Downs / Edwards DT - Mickey / Davenport / Logan DE - Clowney / Mingo / Allen And ALL ( except for Adams ) of these guys would be here for AT LEAST 2011 and 2012........ How could you not sell a guy on that? Who wouldn't want to be a part of what could almost certainly be one of the most dominating Defensive Lines in the history of college football. That looks plain amazing, even without Clowney, but with him............its just epic.
because it seemed like you directed your 2012 comment towards me, when I was clarifying his position, my point was I never mentioned him, but I saw someone did. now do you want to discuss if the sky is blue or gray today?
Just some clarifications... He is 6'3 and 210lbs according to Torshiro. Also he is from Woodlawn High in Shreveport and not Baton Rouge. I was confused about that a couple of weeks ago. Coaches like him as an OLB as of now.
was reading some chatter on a texas board saying that two ex-Tigers might be trying to flip Torshiro to the horns: texas OL coach Stacy Searels (who was the OL coach at LSU for 4 years, 2003-2006) and texas DL coach Bo Davis (who was at LSU for ten years: 1990-92 as a player on our DL, 1995-1997 as a grad assistant, and 2002-05 as a coach) they said: --Searels was at Torisho's high school in Shreveport this week, and offered him a scholarship --Torisho has agreed to be in austin for UT's annual summer camp during the first week of June --Bo Davis is the lead recruiter and he's good friends with Torshiro's high school coach, he has been recruiting Torshiro since he was a freshman (for alabama where Davis has been the last four years), and that Torshiro's coach said Torshiro likes Davis so much that he'd possibly be an alabama commit right now if Davis hadn't left for texas who knows if their is any truth to it or not
