We should never play a Div 2 school ever. Also we should try and arrange a home and home with a Top 10-15 OCC school every year and try to start a yearly OCC rivalry with that team. I realize the other OCC teams may be a crap shoot since they are usually scheduled well in advance. JMO

I agree that we should not play a division 2 school. But it is going to be harder to play good OOC opponents if they add another SEC game into the schedule.

If we play a 12 game schedule, with 9 SEC games, then you have 4/5 home SEC games each year. If the goal is 8 home games for the budget, (which is a number often used), then the other 3 games need to be home games.

It is possible that they will only go to 2 East opponents, 1 permanent and 1 rotating, but I doubt it. It is highly unlikely that they will stop the permanent (other side) opponent because those are the highly rated TV games.

Another downside to playing these lesser OOC schools is I have to shell out $21.95 for pay per view to watch my Tigers play the Townsen Tigers, Idaho Potatoes, and North Texas Green Meanies . Unless ESPN 2 decides to throw us a bone and televise one of these blowouts simply because we are ranked #1.
