If we do get Metz....he is the quick fix.....then rivers would reshirt...which I think he will do even if we do not get metz. With both lee and jefferson returning. Perfect case scenerio...we get metz, rivers, and one more QB, then rivers and whoever redshirts. If we do not get another qb with rivers and metz, there's still time to pick two up in 2012.
oh misread it, sorry about that. And yeah, brissett would be a surpise, but I think we could possibly pull it out.
If we get Mettenberger, I hope that he would either start or push Jefferson and Lee that they would play better. Now they will be Sr's., so they should play like Sr's. That way Rivers could be red shirted.
I would think LSU is going to get two more QBs in next year's class. We need a blue chip QB and then a project to go with him, IMO. You have to prepare for the fact Mettenberger can leave any season at LSU since he will be draft eligible.
