His best friend, LB Trey Grainer, will be a big selling point as well. He may commit before Robinson makes a decision but he at least knows he is almost a lock to LSU for the 2012 class. Based on his latest articles after his back to back LSU visits and the family factor I have been hearing about I feel really good that he ends up staying home.
I was listen to WWL Sports Talk and they had a guy (not from Scout or Rivals) on to knows a lot about recruiting and he said Robinson looks very good for LSU.
It is good for LSU he has us scheduled last. Also, he is seeing LSU on two officials in action, although one is for Auburn. We know his family is a big thing for him and he has come out at the beginning saying LSU was his place, he just wanted to make sure. Hasn't his family only made trips to LSU and nowhere else? Or am I wrong in thinking that? I don't seem to remember reading anywhere his family has gone to AU or plans too...if they don't go with him on his official, I think that pretty much tells it right there... Collins/Robinson would be a hell of a force for years. Both manning their sides of the lines.
No family visit yet to Auburn. Not sure if it is in the plans for the Auburn visit but the family will likely want to go and cheer on LSU.
Well since it is now out in the open, our biggest visitors this weekend are the Greg Robinson Family. Parents and grandparents to come visit with the coaching staff. Greg will try to make it over to campus as well after his homecoming stuff. That is 3 visits in the last 4 weeks and will go see AU/LSU and come back to LSU with family in tow for the Bama/LSU game. Announcement could come shortly after that.
Bhelm: I'll be at the Auburn/Arky game. Any big LSU recruits visiting Auburn this weekend that you know of? Maybe I can dress in navy and orange, act like an idiot and push them back toward BR. :geaux:
Only one of note is 2012 prospect, D.J. Humphries. I would just support our colors but be creative.
